Sharon Miles
Managing Director
Sharon is the founder and the creative mind behind Gold Heart Home Care Services.
Before creating Gold Heart Home Care Services, Sharon worked for various companies supporting and caring for Seniors, people with disabilities, and those with Special Needs.
She has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over 20 years in the care profession. It is from this first-hand experience that she identified the need for a holistic, reliable, affordable, client centred, professional home care service. In Jan 2019, her dream was realised when Gold Heart Home Care services began delivering services in Chilliwack.
Sharon’s passion, commitment, dedication, loyalty and empathy to her clients and staff is second to none. She affectionately refers to them all as the ‘Gold Heart Family’.
Outside of her professional career, Sharon has many other passions. From her tight-knit family (with Gibson our therapy dog, in tow) to her local charitable endeavors, one of which sees her serve as a committee member helping raise money for sick children in our province. Her positive attitude and caring demeanor have helped her build a professional network in the community and a solid rapport among her peers and friends.

Wayne Miles
Executive Director
Wayne is the newest member of the management team and has only been in Canada since October 2020. Wayne has a wealth of experience and knowledge of senior management and social care service provision. He worked for over 25 years with youth homelessness, young offenders, and children in care.
Wayne is enjoying newly married life with Sharon, their therapy puppy Gibson, and discovering Canada. He enjoys playing poker, quality time with his children and grandchildren and has a passion for exotic pets.

Aaron Gelowitz
Coordinator
Aaron is a father of 3 and has lived in the Fraser Valley for the past 10 years. Prior to an accident in 2015 which left him with a high-level spinal cord injury, he worked full-time as a Firefighter in the lower mainland. Post injury and on release from hospital, Aaron experienced first-hand the public in-home care model that was in place and quickly realized the challenges associated with it. It was completely by chance that Aaron met Sharon and the two fast became friends who both shared a vision to change the way in-home care is delivered and provided. Aaron has been very much involved with Gold Heart since it began and is an integral part of the management team.

Juliette Dyer
Support Manager
Juliette is a Gold Heart Services Support Manager and one of the first employees with the company.
She started in health care 14 years ago housekeeping and enjoyed working with seniors so much that she decided to go back to school to become an HCA. Juliette enjoys her job and makes every moment spent with clients count.
“I came to work at Gold Heart because it was very different from the other home-care companies out there. From the family feel to going above and beyond for our clients; It is something I value and take pride in. There Is nothing we won’t do even – if it’s the smallest task, we will do our best to make it happen. It’s what makes GH different, and I believe makes us stand out from other home care agencies.”
She has been married for 21 years and is a proud mom of 2. As a dedicated hockey mom, when she is not working, she can be found at the hockey arena or driving to one.
Tracey Kelsey
Office Manager
Tracey has lived in Chilliwack for close to 30 years and with her husband, raised their 2 children here. Tracey has been our “go-to” in the office since January 2021. She comes with 40 years of office experience which makes her a crucial part of the team. She is usually the first point of contact for anything related to Gold Heart Home Care Services.
