Have some questions?

What is respite?

Respite care is planned or emergency temporary care provided to caregivers of a child or adult. Respite provides planned short-term and time-limited breaks for families and other unpaid care givers.  Respite care could also be called temporary care, a break, a time out, short break, interlude.

Can I choose the services and caregivers I want?

Our Gold Heart assessor will work closely with the client and their families to establish a family-centred care plan which best meets their needs.  We will do our best to find the right fit between client and caregiver based on the level of care, preference, personality traits you prefer, and the activities you enjoy.

Is there a Service Agreement?

Yes, there is a service agreement between you and Gold Heart Home Care Services Inc which will outline the services that you need, the amount of hours per week, and the cost to you.  The services mentioned in the agreement may be modified at any time by calling ahead and discussing with one of our office staff members.

Will I receive the same caregiver each time?

Gold Heart knows how important it is to have familiarity and trust. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What are in-home assessments?

An in-home assessment is where a Gold Heart team member will come into your home to meet with you and your loved ones to custom tailor a care plan based off your specific individual needs. We will discuss and determine if you qualify for eligible funding through the Government or your personal insurance coverage. We will never sell you on a service that is not required.

Why should I choose Gold Heart Home Care Services Inc.?

Gold Heart Home Care Services Inc is not a franchise; we are locally owned and operated with roots in the communities which we serve. We firmly believe in treating both clients and staff as family, as we would want the same treatment for our loved ones. We are here to help you in any way that we can.
